Dome: A SaaS startup for fashion

Being a creative in the fashion industry is tough, there’s no one magical panacea to help you be successful. But there is a way to guarantee you’ll progress more quickly. And that’s through collaboration.
Dome is an online platform that helps talent in the fashion industry grow their careers through collaboration.
The platform is currently in the early stages of user acquisition, testing and iteration.
As one of the founders, I’m heavily involved in the direction and design of the product and brand, along with making strategic business decisions.
The Platform
Dome takes cues from the fashion industry, borrowing it’s stripped back, minimal aesthetic, designed to be secondary to the content placed on there by creatives, brands and talent agencies. While using curved edges to tie into our name.
While these are just a few of the 100s of screens designed for the platform across desktop and mobile sizes, it provides a glimpse at the design system and feel of the platform and its features.
Dome Branding
Dome is a private online platform that fosters creativity through collaboration.
When developing the brand stamp for Dome, we chose to imagine this private space within a Dome tangibly, imagining what it would look like for people viewing the world of Dome through curved glass.
In this sense, the Dome logo is being warped by curved glass.
The gradient used in this version also represents the mix of colours the eye sees when viewing refracted light through curved glass.
